Short version: we keep only what we need to tell you when Mira goes on air, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted any time.
Who we are
Moodsoon and Mira's Cosmic Weather are run by Trendspark Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Trendspark Ltd is the controller of your personal data. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you join the waitlist: your email address, your star sign and, if you choose, your person's star sign. We never ask for their name or contact details.
- Invites: your personal invite code, and the code of whoever invited you, so we can count how many friends joined through each link.
- On your device only: your last chosen sign, °F or °C, and your invite code are saved in your browser's local storage so the page remembers them. They never leave your device and aren't used for tracking. We don't use cookies.
- Visit statistics: we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Your daily forecast is made in your browser. We don't record which signs you look at.
What we use it for
When you join, we send one welcome email with a link to confirm your address. If you don't confirm, we won't email you again. We record when you confirmed or unsubscribed.
To email you when the app launches, send your free joint forecast, invite people in waitlist order and give out invite rewards. We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising or profiling.
Legal basis
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we process your email and signs because you asked us to (your consent when joining). You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
Who handles it
The waitlist is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery provider that only processes your address and the email's contents to deliver our messages. These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States, under standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Until launch, and then for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or to stop hearing from us. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. US residents: we don't sell or share personal information as defined by California and other state privacy laws, so there's nothing to opt out of. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, in the EU, your local data protection authority.
Children
Moodsoon is for people aged 16 and over. If you think someone younger has joined, email us and we'll delete their details.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for big changes, tell subscribers by email.
